Colin was once called on a Friday afternoon by an advertising company looking for music for a £6M ad campaign for 888 Poker. The commercial was already scheduled to air on the following Monday...
Having already been to all the major production music libraries and a long list of London's composers without success, they asked if he had anything similar to a commercial track which they had been unable to clear for copyright
Unable to find anything in his existing catalogue, he offered to write something that afternoon and duly delivered a demo within the hour which was well-received by all the executives. The package of various edits was completed and delivered over the weekend and went to air, on schedule.
TRACK REPLACEMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL TV DRAMAS
The track "I Remember When" was composed, arranged, recorded with live flugel horn and delivered in around 12 hours. It was a last minute replacement track for the international version of the network ITV drama 'Torn' and Colin has since become a 'go to' composer in this field, having worked on music for Foyle's War (ITV), You Me & The Apocalypse (Sky One/NBC), The Little House (ITV), The Last Enemy (ITV), The Reckoning (ITV), Undeniable (ITV) and Good Karma Hospital (ITV).
